The A-2000 clamps to the coupling and reaches over the flange — built for larger, disk-packed couplings. It fits hubs from 3" to 10" and expands to 18", with 2" of hub-to-bar clearance. 1" thick. Patent # 4,516,328.
Like every ALINE set, the A-2000 uses the reverse-indicator method: no batteries, no calibration, nothing to charge or reset between jobs. Set the brackets, turn the shafts, read the dials.
Any millwright can learn the procedure in a single shift. It's a great alignment set for larger, disk-packed couplings a smaller set won't clamp to.
