I've got the A-3000 set and love it. My chain jigs stay at home most of the time but ALine stay in the truck year round. The chain jigs are nice but cant even compare...

Shaft ALine Manufacturing
We are a millwright apprenticeship school for Millwrights Local 1102.  I was in Las Vegas recently for a Machine Alignment Train-the-Trainer and they use A-line products at our International Training Center.

When I had the opportunity to use the A-Line products, I was impressed when compared to the chain clamps that we currently used, which is why we ordered a set.

How It Works?

Get a quick refresher on the graphical procedure for reverse alignment with this concise course. Perfect for technicians looking to sharpen their skills and ensure precise alignment every time.

How to Graph Plot

Graphical alignment is a technique that shows the relative position of the two shaft centerlines on a piece of square grid graph paper.

Alignment Tolerances

An alignment tolerance allows the alignment to be within an acceptable range of misalignment that does not affect the machine's ability to rotate properly.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is shaft alignment and why is it important?
Shaft alignment refers to the process of aligning two or more shafts within a machine so that they rotate on a common axis. Proper shaft alignment is crucial because misalignment can lead to increased wear and tear on machinery, higher energy consumption, premature bearing and seal failure, and ultimately, unexpected downtime and costly repairs.
  • How do your shaft alignment tools work?
Our shaft alignment tools use advanced laser technology to accurately measure the alignment of shafts. The device projects laser beams from one shaft to another, and sensors detect any misalignment. The tool then provides real-time feedback and instructions to correct the misalignment, ensuring precision and efficiency.
  • How accurate are your shaft alignment tools?
Our shaft alignment tools are highly accurate, with precision typically within 0.01 mm or better. This level of accuracy ensures that your machinery operates optimally, reducing the risk of misalignment-related issues.
  • Do I need special training to use your shaft alignment tools?
While our shaft alignment tools are designed to be user-friendly, we recommend training to maximize their effectiveness. We offer comprehensive training programs, both online and on-site, to ensure that your team is fully equipped to use the tools accurately and efficiently.
  • How do your shaft alignment tools compare to traditional methods?
Our shaft alignment tools offer superior accuracy, speed, and ease of use compared to traditional methods like dial indicators or straightedge techniques. They reduce alignment time significantly, minimize human error, and provide detailed reports for documentation and analysis.
  • How can I purchase your shaft alignment tools?
You can purchase our shaft alignment tools directly through our website or by contacting our sales team. We offer various payment options and can assist with international shipping if needed.
  • How can I get technical support for your shaft alignment tools?
You can access technical support by contacting our customer service team via phone, email, or through our website’s live chat feature. We also provide detailed user manuals, video tutorials, and online resources to assist you.
